Black women complain about Black men being in the prison system, but a Black female friend of mine who lived near GW University in VA told me that the young BW near GW WILL NOT DATE the young BM unless they have been locked up in a nearby criminal juvenile facility to prove how tough they are. The BW in the community KNOW that their daughters are making this a pre-relationship requirement, but they don’t care to correct their daughters. BW can’t complain about the lack of BM, while at the same time glorifying criminal behavior. How many BM engineers are sitting in prison who started their criminal activity to impress young BW, just so they could have the Black girls like them?!?? Sad, but painfully true. I personally know BW who had their pick of SEVERAL constructive, marriageable BM and they chose the most irresponsible brotha on earth to date and get pregnant by.
